It was my absolute pleasure to visit the Argentinean Campuses over the past week alongside Perry Hazell ( Regional Team Leader).
We were both pleased to see consistency of OSG practices and positive culture held by all of, striving for better. This was evidenced in discussions with staff, students, Campus Administrators, Boards and families.
For those parents who attended the stakeholder meeting, thank you for your feedback on key points during the session.
This feedback is appreciated and both the Campus and I will take forward items raised.
Each of the three campuses have made positive progress and have some key actions to work towards before all final submissions are made for Round 2 of CQR at the end of October. All of these actions relate directly to improved outcomes and consistency of global outcomes for students, staff and ultimately the wider community.
Thank you for having me.
Olivia
Thank you to everyone for making term 2 a very enjoyable term! Here is a short recap video!
Thanks so much to the dads that came to the campus, we enjoyed having you! They played some games prepared by primary, enjoyed some VITOS sandwiches de miga, volleyball games and L2L games with the secondary students! Till next year!
Book Character Day & Culture Day
On the 4th of July we had a Book Character Day & Culture Day at out campus, we had over 100 people come to see our annual event!! Great job to all the mums and students who put in the hard work of making this day a possibility, thanks so much!!
On the 8th of July we went to the Museo Military, we traveled in the bus and had a 2 hour tour with guides explaining important events that happened though out the Argentinian history then had McDonalds at the campus and volley match, it was a great way to finish the term!
Spotlight on Global Perspectives – Year 11
This term, Caleb and Jeffy, have been exploring major global issues as part of their IGCSE Global Perspectives course. Their recent activity focused on identifying and analyzing pressing world problems, culminating in a collaborative poster project.
They chose to highlight poverty, a global issue affecting billions of people. Their poster presents powerful statistics and insights into the causes and consequences of poverty, aiming to raise awareness and encourage thoughtful discussion.
Through this project, Caleb and Jeffy developed essential skills such as teamwork, collaborative problem-solving, and effective communication.
We’re proud to feature their work in this edition of the newsletter and to celebrate their thoughtful engagement with global challenges.
As part of a classroom project, students were challenged to design their own nature reserves, each aimed at protecting a specific endangered species while also developing sustainable strategies to generate income. This hands-on activity encouraged critical thinking, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial skills, as students balanced ecological preservation with economic viability. The results were inspiring—creative solutions that reflected both compassion for wildlife and a keen sense of responsibility for our planet’s future.
The 5th of August we started with MAP sessions, on Thursday SLT provided a motivator morning tea to all the students. Great job to all the students!
We had a whole new load of need furniture come in the last week of term 2 and week 2 of this term the new posters went up. Everyone really enjoys the new learning spaces and the new technology that came along with it. Teachers have 2 teacher pods set up and running, a training course is going to be given this Wednesday. Attached is a video with a few clips of the new zones.
Texto: Attached is the updated version with the new school photos!
Take a moment to show your appreciation to a staff member, student, parent, or volunteer who has made a positive impact on you in the past week/s!
